Food & Wine and Brooklyn Direct Present First-Of-Its-Kind Brooklyn Food & Wine Festival At Barclays Center On February 17 & 18

(BROOKLYN, NY, October 18, 2016)—Time Inc.’s (NYSE: TIME) Food & Wine and Brooklyn Direct, a programming division of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment (BSE), announce that the inaugural Brooklyn Food & Wine festival is coming to Barclays Center on February 17 and 18, 2017. The festival will continue on February 19 with on-location events at restaurant venues in Brooklyn.

A celebration of the distinctive, diverse and extraordinary culinary culture of Brooklyn, the festival’s jam-packed program will showcase the borough’s vibrant food scene, bringing together 150 of the area’s best restaurants, chefs, artisans and purveyors. Also appearing will be celebrity chefs and food-world luminaries such as Mario Batali, Tom Colicchio, Carla Hall, Nilou Motamed, Gail Simmons and Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale on Thursday, October 20 at 10 a.m. ET and can be purchased online via Ticketmaster by visiting www.ticketmaster.combarclayscenter.com, or by calling 800-745-3000. At the Brooklyn Food & Wine Festival, attendees will experience music and food in the epicenter of the entertainment scene. The festival events include the Grand Tasting on Friday and Saturday with unlimited food and wine served by 150 premier vendors and food curated and served by the very best restaurants in Brooklyn. On Saturday, there will be cooking, wine and cocktail demonstrations featuring celebrity chefs, VIP speakers and key industry tastemakers. On Saturday night at the venue’s 40/40 CLUB & Restaurant by American Express, a VIP dinner will be curated by celebrity chefs and world-class food and wine vendors. Official VIP after-parties on both Friday and Saturday nights will feature DJs, live music performances, and appearances by celebrity chefs.
