(NEW YORK, NY, JANUARY 23, 2017)—Time Inc.’s (NYSE:TIME) People/Entertainment Weekly Network (PEN), the free streaming network, today announced the premiere of “Scandal Superfan Recap: Gladiators Don’t Run” on Thursday, January 26 at 11 PM ET, a new live weekly 16-episode series that will offer fans the opportunity to discuss the latest plot twists and surprises from ABC's hit show “Scandal" with signature fan social integration. Laura Coates, former federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice and renowned TV legal analyst, has been named host of PEN's exclusive live streaming series, and will be joined each week by a new panel of "Scandal" fanatics, including esteemed journalists and editors from People and Entertainment Weekly. In partnership with Burst, the mobile video platform that provides the technology that makes this experience truly participatory, fans will drive the discussion with real-time mobile videos at burst.com/scandal. Viewers will also engage via Twitter and Facebook Live and join the conversation directly with @PeopleEWNetwork.

PEN's “Scandal Superfan Recap: Gladiators Don’t Run” will bring together a myriad of voices to dissect what they just saw on "Scandal," one of the most highly talked about programs on TV. A new partnership with mobile-video platform Burst will allow the series' host and special guests to engage directly with fans and offer viewers a heavy dose of user-generated video commentary integrated into the show in virtual real time.

PEN live programming also includes recent red carpet coverage of the 68th Annual Emmy Awards, the 50th Annual Country Music Awards, the 22ND Annual Critics’ Choice Awards and the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
