MyRecipes Network Experiences Record-Setting Growth in 2012

NEW YORK, NY (December 10, 2012) – MyRecipes Network, Time Inc. Lifestyle Group’s trusted food and recipe portal, experienced tremendous growth in 2012, reaching a record-setting 8.4MM monthly unique visitors, securing the #7 spot in comScore’s food category. Year-to-date, the site has seen 39% unique visitor growth, and also boasts the highest engagement among the top ten, averaging 11.7 pages per visitor. MyRecipes has experienced triple-digit growth in other key metrics including a 299% uptick in monthly mobile unique visitors and a 447% increase in social media referrals. Building on this success, MyRecipes is launching two products this month—a new mobile-optimized site and the first entry in a new series of e-cookbooks. MyRecipes’ new mobile-optimized site, which launches on December 10th, gives full access to all 70,000+ recipes, as well as menus, collections, slideshows, videos, and features including shopping lists and local grocery deals. The e-cookbook, “MyRecipes Best-Loved Cookies for Every Occasion,” launches on December 11th and is available for purchase on Apple, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon for $3.99. It is curated by the editors of MyRecipes and features a collection of 61 kitchen-tested recipes from America’s favorite brands.
