Time Inc.’s People Announces The ‘People Now Concert Series Presented By Toyota Music’

People Now to Stream Live Concert Series on People.com and Across Time Inc. Digital Properties

NEW YORK, NY (July 14, 2016) — People’s live daily online show, People Now, is hosting a series of four concerts this summer – the People Now Concert Series Presented by Toyota Music – streaming live on People.com and across multiple Time Inc. digital platforms. Toyota has presented People Now since the show’s launch in September 2014 and is the presenting sponsor of the concert series.

The People Now Concert Series kicks off on Thursday, July 21 at 4:00 p.m. ET on People.com and will feature some of the summer’s biggest breakout stars:

Thursday, July 21: Daya (first single “Hide Away” is platinum-certified) @theofficialdaya 
Thursday, July 28: Nathan Sykes (debut single “Kiss Me Quick” just hit number-one on the U.S. Dance Club Songs chart) @nathansykes 
Thursday, August 11: Chloe x Halle (currently on Beyoncé’s Formation tour) @chloeandhalle 
Thursday, August 18: Laura Marano (debut single “Boombox,” Disney’s Austin and Ally) @lauramarano 
 

Performers will take the stage at the People Now studios, located in downtown Manhattan’s Brookfield Place. Fans are encouraged to tune in at 4 pm ET on People.com/peoplenow to view these exclusive live performances, plus behind-the-scenes videos and interviews with the artists. A limited number of tickets for the concerts will be available for fans and distributed via the artists. People will be using Facebook Live to stream interviews with People Now host Jeremy Parsons as he engages with the artists and fans before and after each concert.

The People Now Concert Series presented by Toyota Music comes on the heels of the very successful People & EW Red Carpet Live. The two-and-a-half hour livestreamed Academy Awards pre-show drew 2.4 million streams across People, EW, InStyle, Essence, Time and People en Español in live views, VOD views and Facebook streams.

Hosted by Jeremy Parsons, People Now is a 20-minute live daily online show presented by Toyota, which airs Monday - Friday at 8:30 am ET and repeats at 11:30 am ET on People.com. Now in its second season, People Now averages 8.2 million streams per month on People.com and 3 million streams on Facebook. The show delivers a satisfying selection of everything People has to offer: exclusive interviews, celebrity and entertainment updates, news and human interest stories — plus, style, pets, moms and babies, food and décor, and more.
