Time Inc.’s InStyle Announces Inaugural InStyle Awards to Be Held at the Getty Center in October

Honorees include Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicolas Ghesquière and Kate Young

Los Angeles, CA (September 17, 2015) – On October 26th, Time Inc.’s (NYSE:TIME) InStyle will present the inaugural InStyle Awards, honoring the actors, actresses and artists whose style defines the red carpet and the image makers behind the scenes. Hosted by Editorial Director Ariel Foxman, the intimate dinner will be the first fashion event held at the Getty Center in Los Angeles. As the foremost media brand to sit squarely at the nexus of Hollywood and the fashion industry, InStyle created a new annual list, titled “Hollywood’s 50 Best Dressed,” to honor the symbiotic relationship between the runway and the red carpet.

The 14-page list feature, edited by Fashion News Director Eric Wilson, will run in InStyle’s November issue, and an interactive digital hub will go live on October 16 on InStyle.com.

At the October 26th event, each honoree will be introduced by a special presenter and will receive a custom-designed award created by fashion illustrator Donald Robertson. The event will also feature a performance.

 

With this new franchise, InStyle further cements its status as the leading authority on how fashion and Hollywood influence each other and how that influence resonates with women worldwide.
