Alex Prewitt Named Staff Writer at Time Inc.’s Sports Illustrated

New York, NY (October 7, 2015) – Former Washington Post writer Alex Prewitt has joined Time Inc.’s (NYSE:TIME) Sports Illustrated as a Staff Writer, it was announced today by Paul Fichtenbaum, Editor of the Sports Illustrated Group. Prewitt will mainly be covering the NHL but he will also contribute to other beats and work across all platforms.

 

During his time at the Post, Prewitt covered the University of Maryland athletics for two years and NHL’s Washington Capitals for one year. A graduate of Tufts University, he has also written for USA Today, ESPN.com, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and the Boston Globe.
