Time Inc.’s Coastal Living Signs on Nine Sponsors to Create State-of-the-Art Showhouses in Texas and Florida

The Coastal Living Showhouse in Cinnamon Shore on Mustang Island, Texas and the Coastal Living Beach Cottage in Seagrove, Florida to Open for Public Tours This Summer and Fall

NEW YORK, June 16, 2015 – Time Inc.’s Coastal Living announces the opening of two branded beach homes this year: the Coastal Living Showhouse in the Cinnamon Shore development on Mustang Island in Texas and the Coastal Living Beach Cottage in Seagrove, Florida. With interiors by celebrated designers from the Coastal Living/Southern Living Designer Network, these two custom-built houses will offer quintessential Coastal Living brand experiences featuring products from a range of home design and décor companies such as Benjamin Moore and Sunbrella. Home tour tickets will be available to the public for purchase, and the homes will be featured as Coastal Living magazine cover stories this fall.

 

The 2015 Coastal Living Showhouse, featuring interiors by distinguished designer Meg Braff and built by Benco Construction, will be 7,000 square feet in size and have seven bedrooms, as well as a pool with cabana, among other elements. The architect for this project is David H. Sherwood. Upon completion in June, this custom-built home will open to the public for tours.

Set for an August 13 opening for public tours, the Coastal Living Showhouse is located in Cinnamon Shore, Texas, a premiere development located on Mustang Island just off the coast of Corpus Christi. The home will feature interiors by celebrated Houston-based designer Bailey McCarthy. Built from the ground up by Premier Coastal Homes/Waggoner Contracting with the architecture firm Kissling Architecture, the home will be 3,500 square feet with 4 bedrooms. Sponsors of this home whose products will be showcased within the home include: AZEK Building Products, Benjamin Moore, Circa Lighting, Costa del Mar, Lane Venture, Lloyd Flanders, LEE Industries, Marvin Windows and Doors, and Sunbrella. The home will be featured in the November issue of Coastal Living.

 

The Coastal Living Beach Cottage located in Seagrove, Florida is the first remodel project for the brand and is scheduled to open on October 2 for public tours. Paige Schnell of Tracery Interiors will be the interior designer on this home. The reconstruction will be led by Artisan Builders and Mark Schnell of Urban Design will be the architect. At more than 2,500 square feet, the home will have three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Sponsors of the Coastal Living Beach Cottage whose products will be included within the house include: Benjamin Moore, Circa Lighting, Costa del Mar, Lloyd Flanders, LEE Industries, Marvin Windows and Doors and Sunbrella. The top-to-bottom renovation of this home will be featured in the December/January issue of Coastal Living.
