#PEOPLENaturalBeauty: February 13 – March 6

#BellezaNaturalPEOPLE: February 23 – March 15

Feb 12, 2015

New York, February 15, 2015 – Time Inc.’s PEOPLE, the world’s most popular celebrity weekly, and PEOPLE en Español, the top-selling Hispanic monthly in the U.S., join together for the first-ever “Most Beautiful” contest collaboration between the two brands. PEOPLE and PEOPLE en Español invite women ages 18 or older to celebrate their natural beauty by posting a photo that best represents their naturally beautiful self – whether it’s a makeup-free selfie, a shot flaunting their natural hair, or a picture that they feel lets their natural beauty shine through – on social media using the hashtag #PEOPLENaturalBeauty or #BellezaNaturalPEOPLE. Presented by the AVEENO® Brand, known for using ingredients sourced from nature to deliver real benefits for healthier, more beautiful skin and hair, the Natural Beauty/Belleza Natural contest is accepting entries via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram from February 13 – March 6 for PEOPLE, and from February 23 – March 15 for PEOPLE en Español.

PEOPLE’s editorial team will review the photos and will select 20 finalists plus one grand prize winner. The winner will receive a selection of AVEENO® products, a professional photo shoot in New York, and will be featured in PEOPLE’s annual “50 Most Beautiful” special double issue (hits newsstands on April 24), on PEOPLE.com and on social platforms. PEOPLE en Español’s editors will choose one grand prize winner, who will be featured in the “Los 50 Mas Bellos” June issue (hits newsstands on May 3), on PEOPLEenespanol.com and on social platforms.

“For more than 25 years, the ‘World’s Most Beautiful’ franchise has looked for new ways to celebrate and reinvent what it means to be beautiful,” says Karen Kovacs, Publisher, PEOPLE. “Through #PEOPLENaturalBeauty, we are thrilled to extend this franchise to our more than 17 million social media followers, and we couldn’t have a better partner than PEOPLE en Español” she adds.

“Together, PEOPLE and PEOPLE en Español offer a powerful platform across print, digital, and social media to inspire everyday women to embrace their natural beauty,” says Monique Manso, publisher, PEOPLE en Español. “This first-ever joint program will enlighten and engage our passionate community of women with custom content that celebrates their ‘Most Beautiful’ selves,” she adds.
