Time Inc. UK Strengthens Digital Team

Oct 21, 2014

LONDON, October 21, 2014 – Time Inc. UK, Britain’s leading publisher of digital and magazine content, is strengthening its mobile and video capabilities with the creation of two new senior positions on its digital team.

The new roles – head of video and head of mobile – give greater focus to these growing areas and the opportunity to enhance digital experiences for consumers and advertising partners.

Mick Greenwood takes the role of head of video, responsible for video strategy and promoting video across editorial, publishing and sales teams. He joins from MSN where he was managing editor of video and built the company’s original video team. Mick’s other experience includes senior digital positions at GMTV, interactive agencies and MySpace.

Richard Giddings is promoted to head of mobile, responsible for the company’s mobile product strategy and driving best practice. Previously digital editions programme manager, Rich led the delivery of Time Inc. UK’s titles to all major digital newsstands. Prior to joining the company, he was IT project manager at Virgin Mobile.

Both roles report to Simon Loxham, Time Inc. UK’s digital technology director.

Simon Loxham says: “Developments in video and mobile offer huge growth potential for our brands. With Mick and Rich in these new positions, we’re in an excellent place to deliver enriched multimedia experiences for consumers and clients alike.”
