Time Inc. and Plated.com Partner To Create Custom Branded Meal Kits

Meal Delivery Service Features Real Simple and Cooking Light Recipes

NEW YORK, August 18, 2014 – Time Inc. is partnering with Plated.com to create custom branded meal kits featuring recipes from Real Simple, the lifestyle brand devoted to simplifying life, and Cooking Light, the epicurean brand positioned at the intersection of great-tasting food and good health. Plated will deliver ready-to-cook ingredients for recipes from Real Simple’s “A Month of Dinners” feature in the September issue and Cooking Light’s “Start Your Year Off Light” feature in the January/February 2015 issue, making it even easier for consumers to cook recipes from their favorite brands.

“We’re excited to join forces with this innovative brand to super-serve consumers by pairing the trusted content of Real Simple and Cooking Light with the convenience of Plated’s meal delivery service,” said Real Simple Publisher Charlie Kammerer.

Meal kits for twenty recipes from Real Simple’s September issue will be available for order on Plated.com beginning August 10 and will be delivered throughout the month of September. In addition to quality ingredients, each order will include an easy-to-follow recipe and tips from Real Simple editors for putting a well-balanced meal on the table in less than 30 minutes.

Meal kits for recipes from Cooking Light’s January/February 2015 issue will be available for order in December and will be delivered throughout the month of January.
