Woman Launches Bi Annual Fashion Special

LONDON, September 11, 2014 – Woman, the stylish brand for 40-plus women has launched a bi-annual fashion focused spin off – Woman Fashion – an 84 page celebration of high street fashion.

Featuring glossy fashion spreads in partnerships well-known high street brands including: M&S, ISME, BHS Wallis and JD Williams, the new launch aims to take advantage of a gap in the market by offering a fashion-focused magazine with trend-led inspiration for women over 35. 

Kath Brown, editor Woman Fashion says: “In the past the fashion industry has been disproportionately focused on youth. But not anymore! With Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, Cate Blanchett and many more of the most stylish women in the world turning 40 and women generally refusing to give up on style, it feels like the right time to launch a magazine that’s packed with fashion that’s affordable, flattering and will make women rather than girls feel fabulous.

“Woman Fashion is a celebration of all those who want to stay fashionable whatever their age. The retailers we’ve shared our vision with, including M&S and Arcadia, totally get where we’re coming from because they recognise that their 35-plus fashion customers love buying clothes, want to stay on trend and have more disposable income too.”

Woman worked with renown photographers – including Colette de Barros – to shoot all of the original photography featured. As well as fashion content there are also spreads on shoes, bags and accessories, hair styling and beauty.

Woman Fashion special is priced at £2.99 and is on sale from 11 September for four weeks. The first issue offers readers a 20% discount at Wallis.
