NEW YORK, NY (July 6, 2016) — Time Inc.’s (NYSE:TIME) Travel + Leisure announces the World’s Best Awards 2016, revealing the top travel destinations and companies in the US and around the globe. Results of this 21st annual readers’ survey, in which discerning travelers rated their experiences, are now featured on www.TravelandLeisure.com/worlds-best and span 79 category lists, including worldwide rankings, such as Top Cities Overall with Charleston, South Carolina; Chiang Mai, Thailand; and San Miguel De Allende, Mexico ranking one through three, respectively; and regional lists such as Top Resort Hotels in the Continental US with Lodge at Glendorn in Bradford, Pennsylvania taking the No. 1 spot, followed by The Willcox in Aiken, South Carolina, and Twin Farms in Barnard, Vermont.

The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards is a leading barometer of the places and companies that satisfy some of the most passionate and sophisticated travelers. Travel + Leisure Editor Nathan Lump and Publisher Joseph Messer will host a celebration in New York City on July 20 in honor of the World’s Best Awards 2016 winners.
