Time Inc. Names Yahoo, Inc. Executive Scott Kelliher President Of Sales, Technology And Telecommunications Category

Michael Schneider Elevated to Senior Vice President, Financial Services Category

(NEW YORK, NY, NOVEMBER 16, 2016)—Time Inc. has named Scott Kelliher to President, Technology and Telecommunications to oversee sales and revenue growth for this category. Kelliher joins the company from Yahoo, Inc. where he was Vice President and Industry Lead for its technology and telecommunications business, beginning December 5.

Michael Schneider, who currently leads the East Coast region for the financial services as well as the technology and telecommunications category teams, is elevated to Senior Vice President, Financial Services, effective immediately. Schneider has worked at Time Inc. for the past five years. He led sales for the Fortune and Money Group and was associate publisher of Fortune and Money before Time Inc. pivoted to its current go-to-market sales category approach. Schneider has spent his career in the B-to-B and finance space, including nearly nine years at The Wall Street Journal and time at Bankrate.com. Kelliher and Schneider report to Mark Ellis, President and COO of Sales and Marketing.

Kelliher brings more than two decades of sales, marketing and brand development to Time Inc. At Yahoo, Inc., he established and maintained key relationships in the technology and telecommunications vertical while developing the company’s strategy across all digital media disciplines. Previously, he was Chief Development Officer, Technology & Telecommunications Category, Sales Director & Industry Practice Head of AOL, where he worked for six years. Earlier in his career, Kelliher worked at Virgin Mobile where he directed media and advertising services.
