Jen L. Wong Named One of Adweek’s 50 Most Indispensable Executives in Marketing, Media and Tech

Time Inc. COO and President of Digital Is No. 19 on Adweek's Ranking

(NEW YORK, NY, NOVEMBER 7, 2016)—Jen L. Wong, Time Inc. (NYSE: TIME) Chief Operating Officer and President of Digital, today was named among the Adweek 50, the media news magazine and website's ranking of the "most indispensable executives in marketing, media and tech." At No. 19, Wong is recognized for the enormous contributions she has made to Time Inc. in her approximately one-year tenure with the company.

"Jen is a unique talent who is fluent in the digital and technology disruption impacting our industry. She is an entrepreneurial, strategic leader who drives results across our business," said Time Inc. President and CEO Rich Battista. After joining Time Inc. last January as President of Digital, Wong added oversight of the company’s native content studio, The Foundry, and Product Engineering. In September she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer where she added oversight of Time Inc.’s consumer marketing and revenue division, while working with Battista on overall strategy and execution.

In the third quarter, Time Inc.'s digital advertising revenue grew 63% year-over-year, while video unique visitors increased 38% and the company's social media footprint rose 45%. For the year, Time Inc.'s US digital audience increased to 119 million in September 2016.
