Expo Slated to Debut in New Orleans at the 2016 Essence Festival New Orleans Presented by Coca-Cola

New York, NY(April 15, 2016)—Time Inc.’s Essence will create an all-access beauty extravaganza during two exciting events: The Best in Black Beauty Awards, a fun-filled beauty carnival-themed event celebrating the magazine’s annual feature that will be held in New York City on April 21, and the new Beauty & Style Expo, the ultimate experience in all things beauty and glam that will take place at the 2016 Essence Festival held during Fourth of July Weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Selected by over 1,000 Essence BeautyBox subscribers and insider panelists, the annual Essence Best in Black Beauty Awards, one of the magazine’s most beloved franchises, features a list of the hottest people, places and products that are transforming beauty for the African-American audience (Essence.com/BestInBlackBeauty.) The invitation-only carnival-themed event will host over 150 beauty industry mavens, celebrities and social media influencers.
