Time Inc. Joins Top Ten for the First Time on comScore Monthly Multi-Platform Audience Report

Time Inc.’s 128.8M Digital Uniques Represent 13% Unique Audience Growth Over Last 12 Months, Putting the Company at #10 of Top Online Media Properties

79% of Monthly Uniques Visit Time Inc. Via Mobile Devices

(NEW YORK, NY, JANUARY 17, 2017)—For the first time, Time Inc. (NYSE:TIME) catapults into the top ten digital audiences of online media properties demonstrating that the company continues to grow reach and engage audiences, according to comScore's latest monthly US multi-platform report for December 2016.

“The demand for Time Inc.’s trusted content across platforms and devices is larger than ever,” said Rich Battista, President and CEO of Time Inc. “Our consistent growth speaks to the power of our iconic brands and their ability to capture audiences.”

The report shows that the Time Inc. Network US reached 128.8M total monthly UVs (+13% YoY) in December 2016, including 101.8M UVs who visit Time Inc. via mobile devices every month (+23% YoY). Additionally, about 78.8M (+14% YoY) unique visitors visited exclusively from mobile devices. Mobile visitors represent 79% of Time Inc.’s total digital audience with a reach of 52% among all Mobile internet users.

The Time Inc. Network US ranked #10 among the top media properties for total digital UVs and #9 among the top media properties for total mobile UVs. The company has recorded consistent growth over the last 18 months, since it exceeded 100M monthly UVs in March 2015.

For example, TravelandLeisure.com doubled since December 2015, growing by four million visitors, driven by destination guides and service content for travel enthusiasts. The strong growth in mobile and traffic rankings for InStyle.com, FoodandWine.com and Essence.com complements the strength we already have in news, entertainment and sports.”

The Time Inc. Style Collection, with the addition of the fast-growing millennial acquisition HelloGiggles since October 2015, is now ranked #4 in comScore Lifestyle (Beauty/Fashion/Style), and Time Inc. Lifestyle network is ranked #7 overall in Lifestyle. The Time Inc. Affluent Media Group, which includes TravelandLeisure.com and Foodandwine.com, grew 49% YoY and is ranked #3 in Travel.

In the Entertainment News category, the People/Entertainment Weekly Network continues its consistent leadership, ranking #2 as does Fox Sports-SI Group-Perform Media which ranks at #2 for Total Digital among other sports competitors.
