(NEW YORK, NY, October 31, 2016)—Time Inc.’s (NYSE: TIME) People and Entertainment Weekly will host a live, red carpet streaming pre-show in celebration of “The 50th Annual Country Music Association Awards” on Wednesday, November 2 at 5:30pm ET/4:30pm CT from Nashville and New York. People Now’s Jeremy Parsons and People Executive Editor Cindy Sanz will co-host “People & EW Red Carpet Live” streaming pre-show from the CMA Awards red carpet in Nashville, while People Now’s Andrea Boehlke will co-host from the New York studios. Also reporting live from New York, People Deputy Style Director Alex Apatoff and InStyle Fashion and Beauty Editor-at-Large Kahlana Barfield Brown will discuss the best-dressed Country Music stars and the style and beauty throughout the evening. Plus, People Music Editor Janine Rubenstein, Entertainment Weekly Senior Editor Kevin O’Donnell, and Entertainment Weekly Correspondent Madison Vain and will debate the nominees: who will win/who should win, fun facts, and the stars they are most excited to see on the red carpet. Additionally, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the CMA Awards, country stars will weigh in on the history of Country Music, career highlights and what this particular show means to them.

The “People & EW Red Carpet Live” pre-show will stream for two hours beginning at 5:30pm ET/4:30pm CT on the People/Entertainment Weekly Network (PEN) free app, People.com, EW.com, InStyle.com and SouthernLiving.com. The pre-show’s hosts and correspondents will be socialing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat throughout the evening using the hashtag #CMA50Live. Viewers can weigh in on which nominees should win at the hashtag #CMAawards50 by recording a video with their vote at burst.com/CMA50Live to be featured on “People & EW Red Carpet Live.”
