(NEW YORK, NY, October 5, 2017)—SPORTS ILLUSTRATED PLAY’s TOURNEY MACHINE—the premier tournament management platform in amateur sports—has been named the official tournament technology provider of NCTB Baseball. Under the new agreement, NCTB Baseballwill use the industry-leading TOURNEY MACHINE service from Time Inc.’s (NYSE: TIME) SPORTS ILLUSTRATED PLAY to simplify scheduling, organization and tournament management. NCTB Baseball is the largest provider of youth baseball tournaments in Northern California and is responsible for hosting over 5,000 teams annually.

As part of the new alliance, SI PLAY’s TOURNEY MACHINE platform will power all NCTB Baseball tournaments. TOURNEY MACHINE’s innovative suite of tools and services facilitate seamless registration, schedule management and results tracking all in one place for families, coaches and team and league administrators.

TOURNEY MACHINE’s team and tournament sanctioning services allow governing organizations to develop a more detailed understanding of team participation and competition data. Additionally, the use of advanced features such as real-time alerts, schedule updates and live scoring through the TOURNEY MACHINE mobile app, assist the organization in operating their events more effectively, and these services are now available to NCTB Baseball.
