Sara Haines Of ABC's "Strahan And Sara" To Host 2019 SHAPE Women's Half-Marathon
"Strahan and Sara" Serves as Media Partner of the 16th Annual Race on April 14th in New York's Central Park

NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Meredith Corporation (NYSE:MDP; www.meredith.com), the leading media and marketing company, today announced that Sara Haines, co-host of "Strahan and Sara" on ABC News will host the 2019 SHAPE Women's Half-Marathon, one of the largest women-only half-marathons in the country, which takes place on Sunday, April 14 in New York City.

The SHAPE race is held in conjunction with New York Road Runners, the world's premier community running organization, whose mission is to help and inspire people through running. "Strahan and Sara" serves as Media Partner of the race.

Haines said, "I'm beyond excited to host the SHAPE Women's Half. I was a runner last year and it's inspiring to see women come together and empower each other like they do for this race – not to mention running 13.1 miles!"

The 16th annual race draws thousands of female runners and walkers from around the world to New York's Central Park. Race sponsors include Aveeno, Cabot Creamery Cooperative, Natalie's Orchid Island Juice Company and True Lemon. CARE is this year's charity partner.
